Order group shirts about two weeks before the event: production and shipping run five to nine business days, and the remaining buffer covers sorting, distribution and any late additions. Ready to start? church and nonprofit apparel.
Why two weeks rather than one?
Because the shipping window is not the only step. You still need to receive, sort by size, distribute to people who are not all in one place, and handle the two or three who did not give a size. One week leaves no room for any of that, and rush decisions are where group orders go wrong.
When should sizes be collected?
Three to four weeks out, with a hard cutoff. Sizes collected without a deadline arrive indefinitely, and the order cannot be placed until the last one does. A stated cutoff with a default size for non-responders is the practical solution most groups land on eventually.
What if someone joins late?
Order a single shirt. There is no minimum, so a late addition is a normal order rather than a problem, and it will match the original run exactly. That is the specific advantage of print-to-order over a bulk run that has to be forecast - the roster is allowed to change.
A working timeline
- 4 weeks out - finalise the design and open size collection
- 3 weeks out - hard cutoff on sizes, with a default for non-responders
- 2 weeks out - place the order
- 1 week out - receive, sort and distribute
- Any time after - order singles for late additions
How long does it take to arrive?
Every order is made to order and ships in five to nine business days, and that window covers a single piece and a two-hundred-piece run alike - there is no separate multi-week queue for larger orders. Our fastest verified US delivery was three days on real carrier tracking, and our fastest verified international delivery was Latvia to New York in five days. For an event, order about two weeks ahead so there is room to check the first piece and distribute sizes.
Is there really no minimum order?
None. One piece is a real order at normal pricing with no small-order surcharge. Traditional printers set minimums because screen printing and machine embroidery both carry a fixed per-job setup cost that has to be spread across enough pieces to be worth doing. Print-on-demand production has no per-job setup, so the reason for the minimum simply does not exist - which is why ordering one to check it before committing the budget is the standard advice here.
