Dance teams wear their hoodies everywhere: warmups, hotel lobbies, the stands between numbers, and school the Monday after. A good team hoodie has the studio name on the front, the dancer's name on the back and the season year somewhere small. Crop hoodies are the favorite for older dancers. The classic layout

• Front: studio or team name, full chest at 8 to 10 inches wide, or a smaller left chest logo for a cleaner look.
• Back: the dancer's name or nickname across the shoulders, 8 to 10 inches wide, and the team name or a short line under it.
• Sleeve: the season year, a competition name or the dancer's number.

Each dancer's name is its own version of the design. In the builder you set the layout once, then swap the name for each dancer. There is no minimum per name or size.

Crop hoodie or regular hoodie?

The cropped hoodie ($67.99) is a heavyweight fleece cut that sits at the waist. It looks great over leotards and high-waisted joggers and is the top pick for teen and adult teams. It comes in adult women's sizes, so check the size chart for younger dancers. A regular hoodie ($39.99) or zip hoodie ($44.99) fits a wider age range and works for coaches, parents and mixed teams. Make it a set

Colors that work on stage and off

Black is the dance team default because it goes with every costume and hides makeup marks. Studios with a signature color often do the hoodie in that color with white or black print. Pastels look great on crop hoodies for spring recitals. Whatever the color, make sure the print color contrasts strongly enough to read from the stands.

One link for parents

Collecting sizes, names and money from twenty families is the worst part of team apparel. Instead, share one design link. Each family types their dancer's name, picks a size, pays, and gets it shipped home. The studio fronts nothing and holds no extras. Families who join mid-season order the same hoodie as everyone else.

Timing for competition season

Every piece is made to order and ships in about 5 to 9 business days. Send the link to families at least three weeks before the first competition, and set a soft deadline a week before that so most hoodies arrive together.

Original designs only

Use your studio's own logo and original artwork. Logos from competitions, brands or music artists need their permission. The free AI design studio can draft an original team mark if the studio does not have one.

Is there really no minimum?

None. One piece is a real order at normal pricing, with no small-order surcharge and no setup or digitizing fee. Every piece is made to order and ships in about 5 to 9 business days, and that window is the same for one piece or a few hundred. On eligible garments, volume pricing applies automatically once you order enough of the same item, usually starting around 25 pieces.
