The old rule of custom apparel: if you wanted your logo on a name-brand garment, you called a distributor, met a 24–48 piece minimum, paid setup fees, and waited three weeks. The new rule: one piece is a real order — your original design on an authentic Adidas, Champion, or Comfort Colors blank, designed free, previewed on the real garment, shipped to your door. Ready to order? merch maker, launch your line with no minimum.

Why the blank's brand matters

People can't feel your logo quality from across the room, but they can clock a garment's pedigree instantly — the drape of a garment-dyed hoodie, the collar of a golf-grade polo, a Champion C on a sleeve cuff. Putting your design on a name-brand blank borrows that trust for your brand. The trade is honest: the manufacturer's mark stays where the manufacturer put it, and the design space belongs to your original art. We never print another company's logos as the design — that's what keeps it legitimate rather than counterfeit.

How single-piece ordering changes the game

Sample before you commit: order one, check the embroidery density and fabric weight, then roll out the team order — 20+ of the same piece triggers automatic bulk pricing in the cart, no quote emails. Gift one premium piece instead of five forgettable ones. Test a $75 polo as client merch before betting the budget on it. And Shop Pay pay-in-4 splits premium price tags into four payments.

Frequently asked questions

Can I really order one custom name-brand piece with no minimum?

Yes — one Adidas polo, Champion long sleeve, or Comfort Colors hoodie is a real order with no setup fees. Traditional distributors require 24–48 piece minimums; here 20+ of the same item simply unlocks automatic bulk pricing.

Is this official brand merchandise?

No — it is an authentic name-brand blank garment customized with YOUR original design. The manufacturer's branding stays where the manufacturer put it; we never print another company's logos or marks as the design.

Which name brands are available?

Adidas (premium polo $62, space-dyed polo $75, quarter-zip $85), Champion (heavyweight long sleeve $41.99), and Comfort Colors (garment-dyed hoodie $57.99, crew $43.99, boxy tee $26.99, tank $29).

Should I sample before a team order?

Yes — that is the point of no minimum. Order one piece, check fabric and stitching in person, then place the 20+ team order with automatic bulk pricing in the cart.

Can I split payment on premium pieces?

Yes — Shop Pay pay-in-4 at checkout splits any order into four payments, which helps at $62–$85 price points.

Why choose name-brand blanks over standard blanks for custom apparel?

Recognized blanks carry built-in perceived value: better fabrics, better fits, and a label people already trust, which means the piece actually gets worn instead of shoved in a drawer. Fabric weight and quality are the biggest drivers of whether custom apparel earns daily use, and premium blanks win that fight. For gifts, leadership pieces, and merch you want to charge real money for, the upgrade usually pays for itself.

Is it legal to put my logo on name-brand apparel?

Decorating genuine blanks you purchased with your own original artwork is completely legal and is how the entire corporate apparel industry operates. The line you cannot cross is reproducing the blank maker's trademarks — or any other brand's — inside your design without a license. Our checkout runs an IP guard that blocks trademarked artwork, so orders stay on the right side of that line automatically.

Should I choose print or embroidery on a premium blank?

Match the decoration to the garment's job: embroidery gives polos, quarter zips, and outerwear a stitched, uniform-grade finish that lasts the life of the piece, while DTG print handles detailed, colorful artwork on tees and fleece with a soft hand. As a rule of thumb, professional and outerwear pieces lean embroidery, graphic and streetwear pieces lean print. Embroidery is available on select pieces in our lineup.

Do premium blanks fit differently than standard blanks?

Often yes — premium blanks tend to have more considered cuts, whether that is a relaxed garment-dyed silhouette, an athletic performance fit, or a true retail-style drape, where budget blanks default to a generic straight box. Check the fit notes on each product page, and when outfitting a group, remember fits vary between brands so the same person may take different sizes in different blanks. Ordering a single sample first is cheap insurance since there is no minimum.

Can I mix premium and standard pieces in one order?

Yes — because every piece is made on demand with no minimums, you can put one premium quarter zip for the owner, a few name-brand polos for managers, and a stack of standard tees for the wider crew into a single order. The same design carries across all of them. Orders of 20 or more of the same piece also trigger automatic bulk pricing in the cart.

Why do most shops require 12 to 24 pieces for name-brand customization but you do not?

Traditional decorators run screen printing and batch embroidery, where setup costs only make sense spread across a dozen or more garments. Our production is print-on-demand DTG with digital embroidery on select pieces, so there is no screen setup to amortize — a single piece runs as economically as piece fifty. That is what makes one-off name-brand pieces possible at all.

Pay-in-4 may be available for eligible US orders at checkout.
