How much does custom embroidery cost?
The garment plus the stitching, with nothing added on top. No digitizing fee, no setup fee, no plate charge and no per-color surcharge — those four add-ons are the reason embroidery feels expensive elsewhere, and on a small order they can easily exceed the cost of the garments themselves.
What is a digitizing fee?
Digitizing converts flat artwork into a stitch file the machine reads. It is genuine work and most embroiderers bill $40 to $100 per logo for it, once. It is a fixed cost, so it punishes small orders hardest — a $60 charge across five pieces adds $12 each. We absorb it, which is what makes small embroidery runs viable here.
Is embroidery better than printing?
For logos on uniforms, headwear and outerwear, generally yes — it does not crack, fade or peel and it survives commercial laundering. For large, highly detailed or many-colored artwork, print handles detail better and costs less. Very fine hairlines do not translate into thread and need thickening first; we will tell you before production rather than letting it come out muddy.

Is there a minimum for embroidery?
No minimum. One embroidered polo or cap is a real order.
What file should I send?
A PNG or SVG with a transparent background is ideal. We can rebuild a blurry file, and the free AI studio can generate a clean logo from a description.
Will fine lines stitch cleanly?
Very fine hairlines fill in and need thickening. We flatten artwork to correct thread colors and will flag anything that needs adjusting before production.
How long does embroidery take?
5–9 business days, the same as print. There is no separate embroidery queue.
Is embroidery better than print?
For logos on uniforms, hats and outerwear, usually yes. For large detailed multi-color artwork, print is better and cheaper.
